Geek Witch on Facebook

by Tahlea on April 5, 2010

Hi everyone,

Well just a quick update to say that the Geek Witch podcasts’ presence on Facebook has moved from a Group to a Page. A Page will allow us a little more versatility and allow me to get more of an idea how often the Facebook Page is being used, where a Group doesn’t allow me to do that.

So if you’re currently a member of the Group, please remove yourself from the Group, and join the Page.

Click here for the new Facebook PAGE.

Thanks!

Blessings,
Tahlea

Devastated.

by Tahlea on April 3, 2010

My laptop is broken.

I’m posting from my iPhone right now. I do have a desktop computer but most of my stuff is done on my laptop. The screen is busted up bad – hubby accidentally stood on the lid, and now the screen is a mass of cracks and big black spots.

This is going to cost me *a lot* to get replaced, so bare with me.

I couldn’t be more pissed off right now. At a time where I need to be saving money, more and more expenses arise.

*phew*

by Tahlea on March 21, 2010

Wow, has it been some crazy time here in the Tahleaverse.

Firstly, the crazy neighbours have FINALLY left, leaving just us on this block. But not for long…

Because hubby and I are buying our first house – how exciting is that?! I’m so super-pumped – we should get confirmation that our finance has been fully approved by Friday next week (we’re hoping Wednesday), so we’re hoping to be in the new house by the end of April! I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get the next episode of the podcast out before we move, because Goddess knows that’s going to be a hectic time for us. I cannot make any guarantees, and I apologise to all of you who’ve been waiting so patiently for the next episode, but I will definitely try to have it out soon. It’s very difficult for me to record while my husband is at home – and most of the time I’m here, he is too. It’s not so much that I don’t want him to hear what I’m saying; it’s more that he’s a complete distraction :-P

So anyway, I will try to get the next episode out soon! Thanks for your patience!

Happy Mabon to those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, and Happy Ostara to those in the NH!

Bright blessings,
Tahlea xx

Sorry

by Tahlea on February 19, 2010

Hi guys,

Sorry that the episode hasn’t been released yet. I’ve been lacking motivation severely lately, and a few things have cropped up lately that have taken priority.

Number one is that our neighbours are giving us the shits. I’m not going to go into it too deeply, but essentially a single mum and her son live in the unit behind ours, and the son hangs around with… how do I say… “undignified” types. One is a criminal, son of a criminal, and another is a known troublemaker around town. So we’ve been trying to do what we can so that these kids aren’t hanging around our house.

Secondly, my mum went into hospital last night with a severe attack of back spasms – she can’t move easily, and can barely walk at all. So I’ve been at the hospital and helping my dad out around home/town.

So I apologise, but for once I think I have a decent excuse. The episode will be out, it’s just a matter of when.
