Episode #15 should be here next week. However, I don’t have any ideas for what I should talk about. I’d like to discuss something that hasn’t already been discussed but something that is still within my range of knowledge; however, it seems a lot of the ideas I come up with have been talked about already on other podcasts.
I thought about doing something unique and talking about the indigenous people of Australia and their spiritual view of the world, both ancient and current. Would that be something that people would be interested in? I personally don’t work with any Australian Aboriginal deities or practices because I am not Aboriginal (but this does not, of course, discount those who practice similarly with Egyptian, Celtic, Scandinavian, etc. deities). I guess I just never felt a huge attraction to Aboriginal spirituality, being something that I haven’t grown up with, but if people want to hear about it, I’ll happily research and do a show.
Otherwise, throw your ideas at me – give me something to talk about!!!

I think Aboriginal spirituality would be an interesting topic, certainly one I haven’t heard covered. As for ideas, of the top of my head some of the stuff I’m interested in are the uses of sun/moon phases and how they affect magic. Divination is also an interesting subject, although I’m sure there have been podcasts about it. Of course, you might have already talked about these subjects.
If you have, sorry. I’ve only been listening since October and I haven’t had a chance to go through all your older episodes yet. I am looking forward to your next podcast, regardless of the subject
That doesn’t really sound like something that would interest me, I’m not into the many different god/goddesses of different cultures that other Pagans are – what I REALLY would love to hear from you is a discussion on having a relationship with a non-Pagan. You see, I know you’re husband is not Pagan and I’d love to know how you ended up telling him, what his reaction was, how long into the relationship you told him – stuff like that.
You see it’s something that I just don’t know how to bring up with guys I’m dating but it will be important when I get into another long term relationship. If this has been covered by other podcasts – I’d love to find it

Hey Tahlea,
I don’t know anything about aboriginal practices and would be interested in an overview. And regarding what other pagan podcasters have broadcast, I don’t think you should worry if it’s been discussed by another podcaster. If you can provide a new perspective on a subject, I think you should. It’s helpful for people to hear different perspectives on a particular subject.
Looking forward to the episode!
–Renny
I agree with Renny – I know next to nothing on Aboriginal practices and would be interested in learning some. As I only currently listen to two pagan podcasts, saying I have not heard anything on the subject in any other podcast does not mean much, but as Renny said before me, I don’t think you should worry about it – no two people will see the same subject the same way. As it is, I don’t think there are that many other podcasters in Australia, so you may have a unique perspective.
Whatever you decide, I can’t wait to hear it!

I am a new listener and haven’t made my way through all the episodes yet, but I recently heard feedback on a show that got me thinking. The feedback-er wrote that he no longer used ritual, only spellcraft, because it didn’t matter. This may not be big enough to be an entire topic, but I’d love to hear your take on the differences between ritual and spells and their impact in our workings and those of the world around us.
