I am a new listener and haven't made my way through all the episodes yet, but I recently heard feedback on a show that got me thinking. The feedback-er wrote that he no longer used ritual, only spellcraft, because it didn't matter. This may not be big enough to be an entire topic, but I'd love to hear your take on the differences between ritual and spells and their impact in our workings and those of the world around us.

I agree with Renny - I know next to nothing on Aboriginal practices and would be interested in learning some. As I only currently listen to two pagan podcasts, saying I have not heard anything on the subject in any other podcast does not mean much, but as Renny said before me, I don't think you should worry about it - no two people will see the same subject the same way. As it is, I don't think there are that many other podcasters in Australia, so you may have a unique perspective.

Whatever you decide, I can't wait to hear it!

Hey Tahlea,

I don't know anything about aboriginal practices and would be interested in an overview. And regarding what other pagan podcasters have broadcast, I don't think you should worry if it's been discussed by another podcaster. If you can provide a new perspective on a subject, I think you should. It's helpful for people to hear different perspectives on a particular subject.

Looking forward to the episode!

That doesn't really sound like something that would interest me, I'm not into the many different god/goddesses of different cultures that other Pagans are - what I REALLY would love to hear from you is a discussion on having a relationship with a non-Pagan. You see, I know you're husband is not Pagan and I'd love to know how you ended up telling him, what his reaction was, how long into the relationship you told him - stuff like that.
You see it's something that I just don't know how to bring up with guys I'm dating but it will be important when I get into another long term relationship. If this has been covered by other podcasts - I'd love to find it :)

I think Aboriginal spirituality would be an interesting topic, certainly one I haven't heard covered. As for ideas, of the top of my head some of the stuff I'm interested in are the uses of sun/moon phases and how they affect magic. Divination is also an interesting subject, although I'm sure there have been podcasts about it. Of course, you might have already talked about these subjects.

If you have, sorry. I've only been listening since October and I haven't had a chance to go through all your older episodes yet. I am looking forward to your next podcast, regardless of the subject :)

Comment on My Opinion on Sharing Spells by PhoenixWitch

I disagree. I think sharing spells can be very rewarding. I collect spellbooks and love when they mention a new tool or technique. I think it is valuable, as a witch, to study many different methods and find what works for you. I am a teacher, and I liken it to sharing lesson plans. There is no need to re-invent the wheel every time you teach, it is often very helpful and successful when you take a previously created lesson and tweak it to your own skills, aims and the needs of your students. The same can be of spells, you take what you find from other sources, change it to meet your own needs and the supplies that you have on hand (or are able to get) and voila! A spell that is New to You.

That being said, I DO NOT support selling spells or asking for someone to create one for you. In my opinion, the witch must have embedded something of him or herself in the spell for it to work properly.

Given, I do feel it's a little different in a circle, where you're supposed to be honest, open and trusting of the people you're circling with. But even in those situations, there's spells that you do as a group, and spells that you do on your own. As a solitary, all my spells are of the latter, and therefore I don't feel the need to share.
