Resources

Categories: General |

I take a lot of my rituals, spells and information for my BoS from books I have borrowed and/or purchased, as well as other resources such as websites and word-of-mouth. Below is a list of some of the resources I have used - besides listing them, it is also a thankyou to the authors for building the interest in me and helping me in my journey with Wicca.

Books

  • Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham. This book is an excellent read for newcomers to the Path
  • The Everything Wicca and Witchcraft Book by Marian Singer. Again, another fantastic book for newcomers!
  • A Witches’ Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet & Stewart Farrar. A book for more experienced Wiccans - a little outdated, but a good read, especially the second half.
  • Practising The Witch’s Craft: Real Magic Under A Southern Sky by Douglas Ezzy and other authors.
  • The Runes by Horik Svensson. A great little book with a full set of clay runes, and even a hessian pouch to keep the runes in. Get it if you can!
  • The Complete Idiots Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft - As are all CIG books, this one is really informative, heaps of different information and little statements to make you think. Makes the study of Wicca and Witchcraft really fun!
  • The Inner Temple of Witchcraft by Christoper Penczak
  • The Outer Temple of Witchcraft by Christoper Penczak
  • The Witches Shield by Christoper Penczak
  • The Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft by Christoper Penczak
  • The Real Witches’ Craft by Kate West
  • The Wicca Bible by Ann-Marie Gallagher

Websites

  • The Witch’s Voice (witchvox.com) - the first Wicca/Pagan/Witchcraft site I ever found and I still visit quite often. Lots of information for the Pagan community.
  • Wicca Forums (wiccaforums.com) - an excellent online community of Wiccans, Pagans and Witches alike. Friendly, helpful people! (Blessings to those of you who are members =])
  • Many many other websites that I visited when I was younger and just beginning my Wiccan journey - thank you.
